Underground French Hip Hop star, Grems aka Supermicro is touring in October to promote his second solo album with his Rouge à Lèvres crew alongside Boolchampion (Deephop) and Km3 (from Facesrecords). They are playing one Melbourne show at North Bazaar 222 High St Northcote.
Famed for their genre crossing party style blending the Parliament's P Funk-ations, heavy bangin beats and fresh detroit music party stylings, the French d-hip hop team has won fame touring from small underground basements to all the finest club-nights in Europe, and monster music and arts festivals worldwide. With Grems and le4 rapping over cleverly put together bass bouncing broken beat treatments made for dancefloors, the Rouge à Levres original style has brought them critical acclaim. So prepare yourselves for an explosive live set that you'll be unlikely to experience again soon!
Grems, a master of eclecticism, has also been a shining light of the French underground hip hop scene for 10 years now. He is the singer/MC of HUSTLA and ROUGE A LEVRES with a huge discography since his first "raps" were recorded in 1998. Grems is also one of the best parisian graffiti artists. Grems’ second solo lp "Airmax 180" (Deephop panel) will be released on October 25th 2006, the same day they perform at North Bazaar.
